NEED TO KNOW FACTS RELATED TO OUR SALON REGARDING COVID-19.
These are salon and government mandated policys to keep you and our team safe.
-Our re-open date is still unknown as we are waiting for an official announcement on the re-opening date of salons/spas in Ontario.
-We are unable to schedule appointments until we know our re-open date.
-If you would like an appointment when we re-open, you can be added to our contact list via email at email@example.com
-When we do re-open, our hours will change, we will be open longer hours with less stylist working at one time.
-We will practice mandated social distancing.
-We will confirm new covid -19 procedures with you prior to you appointment as well as a pre-screen to decrease risk to our environment.
-Our team will be fully protected, protecting you in PPE equipment. All of our guests will be required to wear a mask and sanitize upon arrival.
-Our clients will have to come alone to their appointment to ensure compliance with government regulations.
-We will have to suspend our beverage service and have our guest's wait outside the salon for their appointment.
-Our entire team will be certified in COVID-19 Sanitization. You can ensure the safest and cleanest environment possible.
-You can ensure you will be socially distant and no one will be in our salon without being fully pre-screened prior.
-Plexi glass is installed on nail service areas.
-We are so appreciative of your support of this business, we cannot thank you enough .

When it comes to styling and colour techniques, Cindy is a leading authority in the industry. Having worked in the business for the past 25 years, Cindy has acquired a comprehensive and thorough understanding of technical, artistic, and stylistic applications. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, Cindy joined her sister in opening their own salon: Village Hair Studio. Knowing that she had to prove her mettle, Cindy began behind the chair working as a stylist focusing on technical colour applications and precision cutting. As Cindy honed her techniques, she pursued post-degree education programs to elevate her skill sets. While working with her sister, Cindy developed an appreciation for colour application and eventual worked as an educator for some of the biggest colour product companies in the industry. In 2009 Cindy began competing at the National and International Level. Her 2009 Vintage Love collection scored a finalist for Canadian Editorial Hairstylist of the year, Contessa Awards, finalist for Ontario Stylist of the Year, Mirror awards. Her 2015 collection which shall remain unnamed landed her a coveted spot as a finalist for the North American Hairdresser of the year, Texture Stylist, and as a finalist for Canadian Hairdresser of the Year.
Cindy’s strong beliefs in professional growth influenced how Village Hair Studio approached continuing education for the salon’s team. Education is key and is a fundamental requirement according to Cindy; the salon is committed to it. When passion and education meet, you have a professional stylist that is always researching the latest and greatest products, trends and ingredients – that’s Cindy.
